Cookie Policy
What this site puts on your device and what it sends elsewhere. Last updated August 18, 2026.
Cookies this site sets itself
The website software (WordPress) may set a cookie if you leave a comment or log in. Ordinary visitors browsing pages are not logged in and are not tracked by us with a cookie.
The booking form plugin may set a short-lived cookie to stop a form being submitted twice.
What is sent to Google
This is the honest part, and most sites bury it.
The page fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. That means your browser makes a request to Google on every page load, and Google receives your IP address as part of it. This happens before you click anything.
The embedded map on the homepage and the location pages is a Google Maps frame. Google may set cookies through it and receives your IP address.
This site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and to see which pages lead to enquiries. It sets cookies in your browser for that purpose, and Google receives your IP address as part of it. Google Ads conversion tracking is not currently switched on. [PLACEHOLDER: update this line if you later add advertising tags.]
How to control it
Every browser lets you block or delete cookies. Look for Privacy in your browser settings. Blocking cookies will not stop this site working, because nothing here requires one.
To opt out of Google Analytics across all sites, Google publishes a browser add-on for it.
Blocking cookies does not stop your IP address reaching Google when the fonts and map load. If that matters to you, a content blocker will stop those requests, and the site will still be readable.
If we start using more
If we add anything that tracks you across other websites, this page gets updated first and you will be asked to consent before it runs.
